About Calosol Alopecia Treatment

Calosol is the collective name of many individual products in our alopecia treatment range.

In very simple terms Calosol can be split into two groups :

Calosol for adults / Calosol for children:

Within those groups there is Calosol for scalp hair loss and also Calosol for facial hair loss eyebrows and beard.

The eye lashes are never treated with Calosol directly, but do respond to the treatment for eyebrows and the scalp.

Similarly the body is never usually treated with Calosol, but responds to the scalp treatment.

Calosol is sold as a combination treatment consisting of Calosol 4H Gel, treatment shampoo, and ointment if eyebrow loss / beard loss is involved.

Calosol is also sold in its component parts because different people have different usage rates. For example different people have varying amounts of scalp hair and hence the Calosol shampoo lasts a different amount of time depending on the user.

Similarly Calosol 4H Gel can bring about faster re-growth if used more than twice per day and hence some people like to purchase additional units and apply it 4 or 5 times per day.
