Iron Deficiency & Hair Loss
Iron levels / stores need to be investigated in any diffuse pattern of hair loss. However taking iron supplements can make many users constipated. Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine said, "Let your food be your medicine, and your medicine be your food."
Therefore we look to nature where we can: Eat more red meat and spinich Blackstrap molasses not only contains high levels of iron but a number of other enential nutrients too ( it also helps with bowel movements ). Iron stores can be increased more efficiently if the diet contains Vitamin C - so aim to increase your citrus fruit intake too.
You will find molasses inexpensive as it is effectively a bi-product of sugar refinaries.
One to two teaspoons per day mixed in boiling water should be sufficient to raise iron levels.
