Shipping

We aim to despatch all goods within 2 working days of receiving an order. Accordingly we carry sufficient stock levels to accommodate this. In the unlikely event that we do not have an item in stock, we will contact you by email.

Goods are shipped from our warehouse in either the UK or USA . It follows that it may take the postal system a little longer to deliver your goods to you if you live outside these regions.

We ship all goods by first class or priority mail. You can request that goods be delivered by courier and ask for a quote for that service.

All goods are shipped in plain packaging and have attached / enclosed a summary of your purchase.

Credit card ordering

We use the highest level of security to protect your purchase over the internet. You will be told when you are switching from a regular server to a secure server and the picture of a padlock will also appear.

If your card is declined by your provider, we are not normally told the reason. We will endeavour to contact you and that is why it is crucial that you give us a valid email address and telephone number.

Returns policy

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, we are happy to refund you within 30 days of your purchase.
We do not refund any postage and packing charge made - the cost of which is clearly shown when you make your order.

If you paid by card, we usually refund the card that made the purchase. Occasionally the card can be out of date and therefore we reserve the right to refund by check or cheque.

Future purchases


If you have returned Calosol to us for a refund, we reserve the right to refuse to sell you other Calosol products again in the future.

We do not allow any of your details to be used by any third party.

Money Back Guarantee

The objective of the money back guarantee, is to ensure that you have ample time to experiment with Calosol and return it if you are not 100% satisfied for any reason. We appreciate that you are likely to be very skeptical hence we are removing the financial risk in trying the product.

Put very simply, we are honest people who would like to help you solve your hair loss problem and as you will see by the following, there are no hidden little clauses involved!

Once your hair has returned, you will no longer need to use Calosol, but may switch to using just the treatment shampoo in place of your regular shampoo. However due to this unique feature with Calosol: "You only need it until your hair returns" a number of people have abused our generosity and claimed a refund having regrown their hair. Some of them have gone as far as to rant on about how successful it has been in chat forums and then write to us saying it hasn't worked!

It is for this reason, we set out very clearly what we are and are not prepared to do:

If you wish to avail yourself of the guarantee, you need to register as a fast track customer within 10 days of your purchase and upload current pictures of your hair loss. The fast track allows you to place pictures on our secure server so that only you and your consultant can see them. You would then need to upload pictures every 4 months and a final set of pictures should you wish to claim a refund.

Our refund is only available to customers with 75% or less scalp hair loss. It is also available where the beard is affected or brows. If you are in any doubt whatsoever, feel free to open a free fast track account and check with us first.


1) When you make your first purchase, between 1 bottle, or twelve of each product, you may claim a refund if you are not totally satisfied. To do so you will need to keep all bottles - used, partially used or unused and return them to us, together with a copy of your original invoice (which is emailed to you when you make a purchase). This confirmation is fully automated and unless you give us a false email address, you will always have such a receipt.

2) If you wish to claim a refund, you should email us for a returns authorization number, which is to be clearly displayed on the package that you are returning. This is just our way of fast tracking your refund, so that we know in advance what is on its way back and from whom. Please email info@calosol.com

3) We refund all product cost, but not the shipping and handling charge (which is shown clearly on our order page) and on your order receipt.

4) In this example will will assume that one Calosol 4H solution will last for at least 30 days, so we give you an extra 14 days from the date of your order to return it. For example, if you purchased 3 bottles of 4H Solution, we would allow you 104 days to return them (30 x 3 plus 14). Using the same principal a one-bottle purchase would be allowed 44 days (depending on the extend of your hair loss a bottle of 4H solution may last you a shorter or longer period than a month ).

5) The sample principle applies to the Calosol Treatment Shampoo, in that by the end of thirty days, you will know whether you are getting along with it, so we allow you an additional 14 days from the date of your purchase to return a bottle (44 days in total per bottle). As with the 3-bottle purchase above, we allow 104 days for you to return them.

7) All returns must be by a form of shipping that requires a signature on our receipt. You will then have proof of your shipping date and our receipt.

8) We would aim to refund the original credit card charged, but reserve the right to issue a USA Dollar check in refund. The reason is that we actually do not hold your credit card details on our database for security reasons. Worldpay are an extremely large and Internationally respected secure payment gateway, so we have them clear the credit cards. It follows that someone may make a purchase and then when the card is no longer valid, ask for a refund, which WorldPay's system may reject - hence we need to be able to issue a check in the original customer's name in such circumstances.

Why Only on the Initial Purchase?

The people that have abused our refund in the past, are those that have repeat purchased a number of times and then claimed the product has not worked. We therefore will now only refund against the initial order. You can make this initial order as short a one-month or as long as twelve months, but only that initial purchase will carry a refund guarantee. Second and subsequent orders do not, as we feel that by the time you wish to make a second purchase, you will be familiar with Calosol's benefits.

If you are in any doubt, opt for a longer initial purchase, say six months, because all forms of Alopecia will have begun to show signs of recovery by period of time, whereas one month is not really going to show you that much progress - although you will of course know if you tolerate the product well within 30 days.

 

Why only where 75% or less of the scalp hair is involved?

It is our experience that when someone has had alopecia totalis or universalis for many years they are less diligent at using the products than someone who has a smaller amount of hair loss and is worried about it spreading. Similarly many universalis / totalis sufferers wear wigs and find it difficult to apply sufficent product daily to achieve the desired results.

With loss of greater than 75% of the scalp, it can take six months or more to see signs of regrowth hence it is easy to give up too quickly. With smaller percentage of loss, the regrowth is usually seen much sooner and hence that encourages the continual use until the problem has been corrected.

Sensitive Scalps

Some people have very sensitive scalps following other forms of treatment. Occasionally we switch them to a milder form of treatment and then increase the strength as time goes on. In these cases we will write to them individually extending the guarantee period: For example after two weeks, they may find that the regular strength is too strong and opt for a milder version. It would seem only fair that their guarantee period is extended.
